History of Stacy
Stacy was first settled in 1870 and established in 1875. It was named in honor of Dr. Stacy Collins who was an early resident. The first post office was established in 1873 and it had its own station for the St. Paul and Duluth Railroad. It was incorporated as a village on April 13, 1923.

Restaurants & Nightlife
Rustic Inn – This is a restaurant and bar combination. Staff is friendly and attentive. Do try the chicken and ribs. Portions are good. The patty melt is homemade and super delicious. Do also try the fresh salad selection and the walleye.
Village Inn – They serve a super amazing breakfast and with generous portions too. Lots of choices, friendly and attentive staff. Prices very reasonable. Wednesdays are free pie day.
Stacy Sports Grill – Nice place to meet with friends and family. Friendly ambience, good food and daily specials. They serve good cocktails and cold beer. They also have a game room too.
Fun Things to Do in Stacy
The city maintains two parks namely: Doyle Ball Field and Lions Park. The Rick Doyle Memorial Ball Fields offer two regulation fields and is located at 30309 Forest Boulevard. The Stacy Lions Club provides the full concession service during games. The Lions Park is situated on the Stacy Trail and features a playground, ball field, restrooms, fire ring and a pavilion. There is also direct access to the Sunrise Prairie Bike Trail.
