The idler/tension assembly on my 25-year-old garage door opener broke late evening on a Thursday. Jamie responded almost immediately (after hours) and got me scheduled for the next day. Alex arrived right on time the next day, explained my options without any sales pressure, and had the full opener replacement completed before our 5 PM dinner. The entire experience was smooth, professional, and hassle-free. In a world full of upselling and gimmicks, Garage Doors Plus was a breath of fresh air. Highly recommend to anyone in the north suburbs—or any town, for that matter.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Alex did a great job repairing my garage door. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain different repair options without pressuring or trying to oversell me. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. I first met Alex while he was working on my neighbor’s garage door, and I asked him to take a look at mine and provide a quote. I’m glad I did. The experience was excellent from start to finish, and I will definitely continue working with this company going forward.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Garage Doors Plus and it's employees are awesome! I have worked with them at The Contracting Company I work for and have used them to work on my garage! Jamie & Thomas are A+Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Thomas was extremely helpful and professional. I spoke with him over the weekend about an issue with my garage door, and he took the time to walk me through the problem over the phone. Thanks to his guidance, I fixed the issue and saved about $300. I really appreciated his patience, honesty, and willingness to help even during the weekend. I highly recommend Thomas and Garage Doors Plus for their excellent customer service!Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Replaced garage door opener and sensor s. Very timely and professional. Done in about 2 hours. Responded in 1 day.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I called on Garage Doors Plus to remove a pre-existing and improper drywall installation (done by a different builder) and replace it with a high-quality installation. The crew quickly removed the existing material (drywall, insulation, plastic sheeting) and did a beautiful new install in just two days. In the process, they fixed several problems left by the original builder (placement of insulation, interior trim, and cable management). Garage Doors Plus also replaced some exterior trim and performed maintenance on the garage door. The crew (Thomas, Rod, Rory, Casey, Andrew, and Pat) all did their parts perfectly and dealt gracefully with the pre-existing problems they found along the way. At the end, they left the garage cleaner than it has ever been. Scheduling was fast (same-week) and pricing was fair. Garage Doors Plus did great work on the door... but they can also did so much more. They will be my first and only call for any future garage work of any kind.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. While I didn't end up getting my garage door replaced through this company, I am giving the company and Thomas 5 stars for his transparency, honesty, and making sure I didn't get screwed by another company. The knowledge and pricing from Garage Doors Plus LLC seems to be fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anybody! A pleasure to work with!Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This was my first time using Garage Doors Plus LLC, and I had a great experience. I called for a broken garage door spring, and they were able to get someone out promptly the same day. Pat, the technician, was professional, friendly, and took the time to answer all of my questions in a clear and helpful way. He replaced the springs quickly, and everything is working perfectly now. Extremely fair pricing, and I will definitely be using them again for any future garage door needs and would highly recommend them.
